Evangelism Techniques

Previously I wrote regarding generally on the Great Commission Matthew 28:19-20. I wish to continue the thought on to the implied word of these verses… “HOW” Throughout Jesus’ earthly ministry he taught by using parables and direct examples in front of the disciples. As the few days surrounding the crucifixion and through Pentecost by the power Spirit the Disciples began to recall the tools they watched Jesus use to bring people to faith in himself.

I would like to review the several forms or techniques, used today by many in witnessing. This refers to the process we currently refer to Evangelism. Debating what evangelism is or is not will come at a later date but for now we will look at common tools and techniques for witnessing.

If there are additional methods or tools you would like us to review, please email them to http://www.messagetothelost@yahoo.com.
Be watchful and be ready and may God bless.

Commissioning

In “The Great Commission” Matthew 28: 19 Jesus commands his disciples to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” The topic of what that is to be taught is covered in  verse 20 “all things whatsoever I have commanded you…” Both commands  (Go and Teach) leave little margin for personal interpretation.

However there has been questions raised with how. Methodologies, interpretations, and even good intentions have skewed the thoughts and practices of men. Let’s not run them all out of town, but try to discern the good from the fair, and fair from the bad.

The training Jesus gave his disciples throughout His ministry reveals the tools we should grasp if we plan to Evangelize.
